Betty Ann Gove (Touvell) Betty Ann Touvell, 63, of Montgomery, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. She was born on May 6, 1942 in Aurora to Clyde and Helen Mae (Watson) Gove. Betty graduated from West Aurora High, Class of 1960 and she married James A. Touvell on September 16, 1961. She was a Medical Records Tech with Dreyer Medical Clinic and was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Yorkville, where she volunteered much time on numerous boards and chairing many activities. Betty also enjoyed all of the time that she spent playing cards with the girls in the Golden Belles for over 40 years. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Jim of Montgomery; loving daughter, Nancy (Steve) Fay of Sandwich; grandchildren David, Scott, and Christopher McGary, and Adam (Leah) Fay; great-grandson, Connor Fay; sister, Dorothy (Alvin) Bunkofske of Temple, GA; and brother, Dick (Chris) Gove of Littleton, CO; she is also survived by her sisters-in-law, who loved her more like a sister, Susan (Bill) Hawley of Millington, Sally Curtis of Sandwich, and Jurine (Roy) Bartlett of Downers Grove; her mother and father-in-law, Walter and Helen Touvell of Sandwich; and many, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Scott Walter Touvell; her parents; and her sister, Beverly Joann Gove. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at the Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Interment immediately following at Lincoln Memorial Park in Oswego Township. The family will be receiving guests from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, August 12 at the funeral home. David Curtis Stewart David Curtis Stewart, 62 of Hudsonville, Michigan after a few months with cancer went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, May 21, 2005 with his loving family at his side. He was born June 10, 1942 in Aurora, the love son of Curtis and Grace (Bancroft) Stewart. He was a graduate of West Aurora High School in 1960, The Moody Bible Institute and attended Trinity College. Dave proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Besides his parents, he is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Boeck) and seven dearly loved children: Tim and his wife Brenda and their children, Ryan and Anna; Amy Bartram and her husband, Dave and their children, Jonathan and Katlyn; Becky, Kathy, Todd, Ted and Daniel. Also his sister, Carol Hartman and her husband, Richard, of Elgin; his brother, Stephen and his wife, Cindy, of Evansville, IN. Also many dearly loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins. His grandparents, Lee and Mabel Bancroft and Robert and Mattie Stewart, preceded him in death. Visitation for Dave will be 2-4pm, 7-9pm, May 24th at Cook's Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie St, SW, Grandview, Michigan with the Funeral at 11am, May 25th. Finally Home. Edward Ellinghusen, Jr. Edward Ellinghusen, Jr., 64, of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2005. Family members include his mother, Mary Ellinghusen of Aurora; three sisters, Margaret (Ronald) Hilger of Sugar Grove, Virginia (Francis) Salis of Batavia and Mary Lou Parsons of Aurora; a brother, George (Cheryl) Ellinghusen of Orleans, Indiana; one niece and seven nephews. Sara Liddell (Couch) Sara Couch, 62, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Aurora, IL, passed away on December 31, 2004 at TimberRidge Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility. Sara was a Medical Librarian. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Aurora and Women of the Moose of Aurora. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Robert Couch of Ocala, FL; a daughter, Susan Jackson of Ocala, FL; a son, Brian Couch of Sarasota, FL; a sister, Carolyn Ervin of Yorkville, IL; four grandchildren: David, Robert, Stephen and Jonathan. Ann Boyer (Pearson) Ann Boyer Pearson of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on February 22, 2006. She was born on September 8, 1942, in Aurora, Illinois. She attended Mary A. Todd School and graduated from West Aurora Senior High School in 1960 where she was a class officer, a member of the National Honor Society, and received numerous honors as a student, musician, athlete, and respected leader among her peers. Ann then went on to attend Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where she received many honors and was one of the first women to graduate from Washington University's highly-acclaimed School of Architecture. After graduating, Ann worked for various architectural firms in the Chicago area before opening her interior design business in 1970. She practiced in the Chicago area, Dallas, and Delray Beach, Florida. Although her main focus and passion was residential space design and furniture selection, she also worked on numerous commercial projects, including renovations of buildings on the national historic register. Among other projects, Ann planned space and consulted on art selection for the executive offices of the Swan and Dolphin hotels on the Disney properties in Orlando, Florida, and the Crystal Palace Hotel and Casino in the Bahamas. However, her major accomplishment was creating an atmosphere of comfort and warmth for her family and friends at her homes in Illinois, Texas, Florida and her beloved Door County Wisconsin. Ann was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach, a past member of the Delray Beach Community Appearance Board, and a past officer and member of the Delray Beach Chorale. Ann was the past president of the Pi Beta Phi alumni club and was an active member of P.E.O. International. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Neil A. Boyer and Grace Hill Boyer of Aurora, Illinois. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Thomas N. Pearson, of Delray Beach; and her son, Thomas N. Pearson and his wife Anne Marie Hampshire of Austin, Texas. Ann was known by her friends and loved ones as a gracious, classy, and tenacious person whose ability to rise above any obstacles she encountered was an inspiration to her family, friends, and business associates. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Delray on February 26, 2006 at 4 PM. John R. Groninger John R. Groninger, 63, formerly of Aurora, died in Las Vegas, NV on June 15, 2006. John graduated in 1960 from Aurora West High School and later graduated from Aurora College. He is survived by his brother, Jim, of Richmond, VA, and Peter, of Glen Ellyn, IL, and their families. A memorial service will be held in Aurora in September. Joan Doran (McKinney) This is a e-mail sent by Joan's husband, to Mary Reynolds Callahan in response to a request for address update: Mary: Hi, I received your letter today looking for an update of your class and I'm sorry to inform you that my dear Joni passed away at the age of 62 on September 6, 2004. We would have celebrated our 42nd Anniversary in November of that year. She died in her sleep of what they call cardiac arithmia. She left behind her son Patrick, daughter Jennifer and two grandchildren, Alicia (now 9 years old) and Ethan (now 5). Her dad, Art Doran just passed away this passed May 11. He was 90 years old. Once the children got into junior high Joni decided to go back to work and worked for the Cook County Farm Bureau in Rolling Meadows for 15 years. After the office moved to LaGrange Park she and I decided the drive was much too dangerous and she became employed with Mars Insurance Group in Crystal Lake. She became an agent and was the office manger when she died after 13 years of service. We are all trying to cope in life without her, she was a very special person. Barbara Jean Fross Elston Emanuel Barbara Jean Fross was born March 15, 1942, in Aurora, IL, and was the oldest child of Fred and Rose (Vigna) Fross. Married to Gerald W. Emanuel in 1977, and now known as Barbara Elston Emanuel, she died at her home in Rockford, Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, following a long illness. She graduated from West Aurora High School in 1960 and the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1964. She was president of the Iota Chapter of Delta Gamma Fraternity. After graduation, she served as a field auditor for the Internal Revenue Service for three years, first in Chicago, and later, in Rockford, where she was the first woman field auditor. She joined the private accounting firm owned by William A. Fuller in 1967, and Bill and Ella Fuller became like second parents. She later owned her own accounting business for nearly two decades while raising her two boys. In 1986, she joined the Rockford office of a national accounting firm. In 1988, she accepted an offer to serve as controller of Viking Chemical Company in Rockford, where she continued to work until her death. Barbara is survived by her husband, Gerald; her children, Michael (Julie) Elston of Woodbridge, Virginia, and Richard (Melanie) Elston of Machesney Park, IL., her granddaughter and step-grandchildren, Emily, Kyle, Garrett and Zabrina; her sister, Lonetta (Frank) Krawczyk of Largo, FL; her husband's children, Steve Emanuel and Kristine (Mark) Robertson; and her first husband's parents, LaVerne and Kathryn Elston. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. Elston, in 1974. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006, in Christ Lutheran Church, 425 Riverside Blvd., Belvidere, with Rev. Dr. Timothy V. Olson officiating. Mary Reynolds (Callahan) Mary Janet Callahan, 64, of Watson, IL, formerly of Aurora, IL, died at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at her home in Wat-son. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2007 at Pagel Funeral Home in Edgewood. Mary (Reynolds) Callahan was born on September 2, 1942, in Sandwich, IL, to Clarence and Florence (Glasier) Reynolds. She was a 1960 graduate of West Aurora High School in Aurora, IL. She married Robert Callahan on April 24, 1982, and they recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Robert Callahan of Watson; daughter, Debbie Grosslag of Bonita Springs, FL; daughter, Dawn Quicksall (husband Larry) of Effingham; son, Scott Callahan of Aurora; son, Robert Callahan Jr. of Lake Villa; son, Shawn Dooley (wife Kathleen) of Aurora; son, Jason Callahan (wife Kim) of Yorkville; daughter, Arlene Clark of Tampa, FL; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Reynolds of Montgomery; brother, Harold Reynolds (wife Julie) of Oroville, CA; sister, Ruth Peck of Aurora; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frazier, Adrienne 1911-2007 Adrienne was born July 25, 1911 and lived her 96 years in Aurora. She was well known for her pen and ink sketches of homes and antiques, as well as teaching many art classes. She was born to Helen Hedin and Erik Gustaf Falk. Her older siblings were Burton Falk and Norma (Falk) Bjorseth. She graduated from Aurora West High School in 1929 with interests in debate, art, and tennis. She attended lettering school in Aurora, graduated from Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, and studied with Ralph Pearson. Adrienne continued her education with many classes and correspondence courses. She began her teaching at Nancy Hill School and through the years taught at East Aurora High School, West Aurora High School, and several elementary schools. She later became a substitute art teacher for the public school systems. She has been very active in art groups including: Aurora Art League, Joliet Art League, Fox Valley Art League, and organized the Brush and Pallet Group. She has participated in many art shows displaying her water colors, oils, and pen and ink sketches. For many years, Adrienne instructed children and adults in her home. She was also an art instructor for the Aurora Park District, teaching children's classes. In her later years she began her pen and ink sketches. She often traveled to locations to sketch home and building sites. She remarked that she had probably sketched more than 2,000 of these special projects. Her concluding art show was held at Aurora University in 2004. Adrienne has always been very active in her church beginning with Grace Lutheran Church of Aurora. While attending there she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School Classes, and lead several groups. Later she joined Calvary Church in Naperville where she was involved in altar counseling. She has participated in many Christian groups: The Lay Institute, FGBMI, Women's Aglow, Billy Graham, and sang in choir for Kathryn Kulhman. She taught many Bible studies throughout the years. She has always been comfortable sharing her faith in groups, at retreats, and with individuals. She married Harold Frazier from Aurora in June, 1939. Harold later became owner of William H. Frazier and Son Plumbing and Heating. They built their home on Sunset, and Adrienne remained there until 2003 when she moved to Sunnymere, a local retirement community. Adrienne often spoke of a very fulfilled and satisfied life. Adrienne has two children, Robert and (Jane) Frazier from Tennessee, and Lynn and (Terry) Bruns from Plainfield. She has four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Harold preceded her in death in 1981. Funeral arrangements have been changed to a later time. Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora. Visitation will be from 12 PM until the service hour. Little, Larry L. Age 64. At rest Friday, September 7, 2007 at Edward Hospital with his family by his side, as the result of Pulmonary Fibrosis. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, DeAnn (McDavitt) Little. He was the dear father of one son, Jeffery Scott (Regina) Little of Sandwich, IL; two daughters, Julie (Jim) Reimer of Joliet, and Jill (Jim) DiMartino of Romeoville; 6 grandchildren, Ashley (Dan) Martinez, Lynette Little, Lindsey Little, Mandy Reimer, Jessica DiMartino, and Danny DiMartino; his mother, Gertrude Little of Aurora; and his siblings, Tom (Cindy), Scott (Gayle), Jackie (Dave) Richardson and Tim (Amy) Little. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded by his father, Floyd. Larry served in the U. S. Marine Corps for 10 years, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired from Proctor & Gamble as a sales representative after 25 years in 1993. Currently employed by Goldman Promotions where he was known as the "King of Trinkets and Trash". He was a member of Romeoville Rotary Club, Romeoville Chamber of Commerce (Past President), Joliet Chamber of Commerce, Joliet Business Builders, Council for Working Women and the Tri-County Business Referral Club. He was a member of Naperville Congregational Church. Funeral services for Larry Little will be Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel, Rev. Donald R.
